Treating Crow’s Feet

While Crow’s Feet are a natural part of aging, for some people they are an unwelcome addition to their appearance. So, if this is you, at Re:nu 180 Medspa, we have the perfect solution! We offer a variety of treatments that can be used to treat your crow’s feet wrinkles. Our medical director Christina Baden, APRN will make sure that you get the results that you’ve always wanted.

What are Crow’s Feet?

Crow’s Feet are wrinkles, folds, or creases that appear around the outer corner of the eyes. They are classified as dynamic expression lines because they are caused by constant facial movement. These wrinkles begin during a person’s mid-to-late 30’s due to aging.

What are some treatments for Crow’s Feet?

At Re:nu 180 Medspa, we offer a variety of procedures to treat Crow’s Feet. During the consultation, we will evaluate and suggest the proper treatment for you. We currently have these procedures available to treat Crow’s Feet:

  • Botox
  • Dysport
  • Eclipse Micropen

They smooth out the area where the wrinkles are present. Each of these procedures create a level plane to match the surrounding area.

Are these treatments effective?

The effectiveness of these procedures corresponds to the severity of the wrinkling. If you have light wrinkling, then the eclipse micropen can help alleviate those wrinkles by spurring collagen production. For deeper or more severe crow’s feet, a botulinum toxin like Botox or Dysport will relax those muscles. The Botox and Dysport shots target deep wrinkles to relax the muscles under the skin, which then smooths out the wrinkles.

Who can use these treatments?

These treatments can be used by anyone over the age of 21. These treatments are highly effective when it comes to treating Crow’s Feet. Each of the treatments are effective depending on the severity of the wrinkling around your eyes.

How long do these treatments last?

These procedures start working a few days afterwards and continue working for a few months. In the case of the procedures like Botox and Dysport, they can last up to three to four months post-treatment.  During your consultation with our medical director, she can inform you more in-depth about what the treatments entail.
